The FOUR QUARTETS, which consists of four parts - Burnt Norton, East Coker, The Dry Salvages, Little Gidding - contains some of the most musical and memorable passages in twentieth-century poetry.
The reading will be accompanied by Soloists of the Philharmonia Orchestra performing Beethoven's opus 132: the piece which inspired Eliot to write Four Quartets.
Stephen Dillane returns to the Donmar where he appeared in Endgame and The Real Thing.
Katie Mitchell directed Endgame at the Donmar. Other work includes Women of Troy, Attempts on Her Life, Waves, The Seagull, A Dream Play at the National.
