For the last 30 years, the Donmar’s mission has been to create thrilling, unmissable theatre in our intimate auditorium. Our work is ambitious, relevant and diverse, told with theatrical flair and an open heart.

All our work is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

At the Donmar, we need to fundraise over half of our annual turnover to survive. As a result, we rely on the support from our members, donors, and sponsors to help us to deliver the highest standards of our work on and off stage. 

It is only with thanks to their kind support that we survived the most disruptive few years in our 30-year history. We now have new and pressing challenges on the horizon, as we navigate a post-pandemic landscape, a recession and cost-of-living crisis, and the detrimental impact of losing regular funding from Arts Council England.
