OPENHOUSE x Donmar LOCAL
Alongside SKELETON CREW we are hosting OpenHouse, a FREE festival for schools, young people and emerging artists to join us at Donmar Warehouse for a packed programme of workshops, performances, post-show talks and networking opportunities.
The programme includes exciting workshops delivered by SKELETON CREW creatives and other industry professionals, tickets to SKELETON CREW, access to post-show talks, and networking opportunities at our post-show events, soundtracked by DJs.
Donmar OpenHouse takes place during the run of SKELETON CREW, from 11-13 July 2024 and we'd love to get you involved!
Delivered in partnership with Open Door, workshops will include directing, acting, set and costume design, lighting, and sound.

OPENHOUSE MASTERCLASS WORKSHOPS
Open House invites emerging artists to participate in workshops led by SKELETON CREW creatives and other industry leaders. The workshops are designed for early career artists, who have some experience and/or training in each of the disciplines.
Our Open House Masterclasses offer emerging artists the chance to develop their skills through workshops with established theatre makers at the top of their game. Workshops in Directing, Acting, Set Design, Sound Design and Lighting Design will provide a unique insight into the process of developing a professional theatre show.
Sessions are free for participants aged 18+ who already have some experience of making their own work.
All participants will also receive a free ticket to the Donmar’s production of Skeleton Crew.
followed by a post-show panel discussion with members of the creative team. Then join us in our bar for networking accompanied by a live DJ set.
The sessions will take place on Saturday 13 July
Closing date for applications is midday on Friday 5 July

We are offering free tickets to the following dedicated performances:
THURSDAY 11 JULY, 7pm
LOCAL Schools’ Performance - tickets available to schools based in Camden and Westminster. This performance will be followed by a post-show talk with cast and creatives. This ticket allocation is now fully booked.
FRIDAY 12 JULY, 7.30pm
YOUNG+FREE Performance - enter the YOUNG+FREE ballot for your chance to claim a free ticket. Entrants must be aged 16-25. The performance will be followed by a post-show event with a DJ.
SATURDAY 13 JULY, 2.30pm
Community Performance - tickets available for young people living and/or studying in Camden and Westminster.

Emerging Talent Performance - tickets available for emerging artists. This performance will be followed by a post-show talk with cast and creatives, and by a post-show event with a DJ.
