DONMAR ON DESIGN 2018

The Donmar’s commitment to training is shown in our rigorous efforts to diversify the arts in the UK to futureproof, energise and improve the creative health of the arts industry. For many years we have successfully fostered new talent through our residency programmes which provide hands-on experience and access to professional networks for aspiring creatives from every aspect of theatre production, through training schemes, apprenticeships and year-long residencies. In keeping with our commitment to nurture the next generation of theatre-makers, in 2017 we launched Donmar on Design, to celebrate the art of theatre design and its designers. 

In November 2018, the Noël Coward Foundation donated £5,000 to the Donmar Warehouse’s Donmar on Design festival 2018. Donmar on Design 2018 was our second festival, created to celebrate the art of theatre design and its designers.
