FROST/NIXON

By Peter Morgan
10 August – 7 October 2006

David Frost (Michael Sheen) secures a televised interview with Richard Nixon (Frank Langella) following the Watergate scandal and the President’s forced resignation.

David Frost’s interviews with Richard Nixon, following the Watergate scandal and the President’s humiliating resignation, drew the largest audience ever for a news interview. Could this British talk-show host, with no known political convictions and a playboy reputation, be the one to elicit an apology from the man who committed one of the biggest felonies in American political history?

Michael Grandage directs this World Premiere. New writing at the Donmar supported by Peter Wolff Theatre Trust.
