Raimu Itfum

Associate Choreographer

Raimu Itfum is an alumni of the Young Vic Theatre Fresh Direction Program, BFI Shorts Film school, Soho Theatre Writers Lab, Kiln Theatre's Writers Program and trained in Contemporary Acting at Leeds Met University. He has an extensive movement direction/ choreographic portfolio with a background in being a faculty teacher for Danceworks London, Pineapple Dance Studios and Base Dance Studios.

He is also currently training in Intimacy Coaching and has completed courses through NFTS (National Film & Theatre School), Hope Theatre, Scrum Theatre and is learning BSL for his access work. Raimu is also a writer and producer.

Choreography credits include: Jiggy at Trafalgar Square; Brown Girls Noise; What’s Love Got to do with it; Port Magazine and Diwali at Trafalgar Square, 2018 to name a few.

Selected writing credits include: MYTHS: Just a F#@K boy with Feelings (in-production currently by Kala Sangam Arts x Jaivant Patel Company); Jheel (Soho Theatre); One Night of Bollywood Dreams (National Theatre X The Glory) and The Boys (Kiln Theatre). 

Producing and directing work consists of shorts such as: Symphonies of Beaded Threads; Husky Hips; C.O.M.P.L.E.X;ities; Soli|tude; Laws of Attractions and Chai with Rai. Raimu is currently in post-production for Nadia supported by The Design Museum.
