Our Funding Partnerships

The Donmar is a registered charity that makes unmissable theatre.

Alongside the work on stage, we give thousands of young people the opportunity to experience theatre through our LOCAL programme, and develop emerging talent, with a strong focus on supporting people from backgrounds less well-represented in the arts to enter the workforce. We are also committed to keeping our ticket prices affordable to encourage more young people to attend our shows, with tickets for just £20 for audiences aged 35 and under. 

We receive no public funding from the Arts Council, and each year, private funding forms a vital part of our income. We raise this money from a range of sources, including memberships, philanthropic donations, corporate partnerships, and grants from trusts and foundations.

We partner with companies and individuals who believe in what we do, and we have an Ethical Fundraising policy to complement guidelines from the Charity Commission to help our Trustees to make sound decisions when considering donations that enable us to deliver our mission and benefit our audiences and community.
