PARADE
Atlanta, Georgia, 1913. A Jewish man from Brooklyn, stands accused of murder of his young factory worker Mary Phagan.
Based on a true story, this extraordinary musical recalls the gripping story of Leo Frank and his pursuit for the truth and undivided love of his wife. Set during uncertain times of racial tension, religious intolerance and political injustice, Parade is a thrilling and emotionally compelling exploration of love and hope against all odds.
Parade is set to an outstanding, wide-ranging musical score by Jason Robert Brown, for which he received a Tony Award. Writer Alfred Uhry also received a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and New York Critics Association Award for Parade.
Parade follows Michael Grandage’s previous musical successes Guys and Dolls and The Grand Hotel.
